In many ways, London’s universities and other higher education institutions encapsulate the character of the capital: international, innovative, highly varied, renowned as a world leader and big – there are about 140 organisations of different types and sizes across the city.
London Higher is a membership organisation that represents about half of them, ranging from big, multi-faculty beast such as King’s College and the London School of Economics, to specialist research bodies such as the Institute of Cancer Research, to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art.
